Winter Menu 2017

TMBC have notified us that School Meals will increase in price from  September 1st 2017 to £2.18 per day.

School meals must be paid in cash or by cheque (payable to Tameside MBC) on a Monday morning sent in with your child in a clearly labelled envelope. Alternatively payments can be made on the Tameside website following the above link.

Any outstanding payments that have been referred to Tameside will have to be paid to Tameside and not the school, school will send a reminder but once the debt reaches £30.00 it will automatically be referred to the LA.

Children may bring a packed lunch from home as an alternative to a cooked school meal, please provide a healthy balanced lunch for your child. We ask that you do not include fizzy drinks or cans, breakable containers, sweets or chocolate. Please ensure the lunch is in a lunch bag, clearly marked with name and class, and provide a spoon if necessary as there may not be one available.

School policy requires two weeks notice to move from school meals to sandwiches.

Universal Free School Meals

From September 2014 children in Reception Class, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal under a new government initiative. Should your child wish to have a school meal it will be free of charge whilst they are in these classes, this will still be covered by school’s policy as detailed above.
